The Lazy JS Ranch started its Quarter Horse production sales 60 years ago near Bowman in southwestern North Dakota.  Our father and grandfather Russ was the great horseman behind the horses you see today.  We are proud of our horses and even prouder to be part of Russ' and Logan's legacy.

Logan Silha, son of Russ and Fran, carried on the traditions Russ established until his untimely death in the spring of 2019.  We miss him greatly, but continue to do our best to carry on without him. We strive to produce performance horses, with most having been used for all kinds of ranch work before they are bred.   Our stallions are well broke and well mannered, as we strive to produce good-minded horses.
