The Lazy JS Ranch has been producing functional Polled Herefords since 1944.

 
We maintain a cowherd of 65 head of Vescovi and Tradition influenced bloodlines.  We strive to produce structurally sound, efficient cattle with length and thickness, strong maternal traits, and good dispositions.  Our herd bulls are sons of SHF Rib Eye M326 R117, LJSR Moses Mark 709T, and introducing our newest addition, SR Scope 179G.

We start calving the end of March and wean calves the beginning of November.  We don't push our calves with feed.  They are given a ration of long hay, grain, and trace mineral once weaned.

Customers who've bought replacement heifers and bulls comment on the superb dispositions they all possess.  Being able to work cattle and not have to worry about being hurt is always a huge plus.
